Sagging or Drooping Breasts
This happens to all women eventually. It is accelerated by aging, obesity and pregnancy.
Stage 1 (mild) and stage 2 (moderate) drooping may be corrected with a breast sling procedure. In this case, a breast sling functions like an inernal bras.
If breast augmentation is needed in addition to lift, a breast implant alone may correct mild and moderate drooping, with or without an internal sling.
The advantage of a breast sling and/or implant is the limited scarring.
For severe (stage 3) drooping, a formal mastopexy using the inverted T technique is the procedure of choice.
