Standby discounts are available for patients who have not qualified for third party loans. Patients who agree to participate with standby discounts agree to be called for surgery on short notice to fill surgery cancellations. To be on the standby list, the patient:
1) Has been seen by Dr. Katsaros.
2) Has received preoperative clearance.
3) Has financed $2,000 to cover anesthesia costs.
4) Has filled the standby form on the right or has e-mailed their contact information to: standby@chicagolandcosmetics.com
5) Patients need to be available on short notice and provide a daytime/cell phone number where they be reached.
6) If the patient can not be reached for a standby surgery, they are rolled over to another standby day with no penalty.
7)If a patient is contacted, but is unable to come in for a particular standby day, or multiple surgery standby days, the patient will be called for other standby days with no penalty.
8) Benefits of Standby: With $2,000 down, any single procedure may be performed. Also, there is an additional 5% discount for being on standby.
9) Penalty: If a patient agrees to come in for a standby surgery, but fails to show up, there will be a $500 penalty.
10) There is a $100 non-refundable fee for being placed on standby.
Standby Waiting List
Standby patients are on a waiting list. Each surgery week, a standby patient may be called if there is a cancellation. If there are no cancellations for that week, the standby patients are not called.
As standby patients wait, automatic withdrawls are made from their account, to pay for their surgery.
Standby patients who have paid a higher amount for their surgeries are placed higher on the standby list.
The waiting time for standby patients may be a few weeks or a few months, depending on how high up the list hey are.
When Are Standby Procedures Performed
Most standby cosmetic procedures are performed on a Saturday. The patient can return to work on Saturday after most cosmetic procedures EXCEPT tummy tuck and butt implants (2 weeks recovery needed).
Standby patients need to have an adult to be with them for the first 24-36 hours (Saturday evening and Sunday) depending on procedure. For most cosmetic procedures, overnight adult assistance (Saturday evening) is all that is required. For tummy tuck and buttock procedures, 36 hours is required (Saturday night and Sunday).
Patients who qualify for an on-call discount may also receive an additional 5% cash discount and 5% referral discount. No other discounts are available with the on-call discount.
If you refer a patient who gets an operation, you get a 5% discount from your friends procedure! You can also transfer that discount to your friend.
